Novare Data Scientist Teams Place in the ML Hackfest 2019

Novare Data Scientists flexed their machine learning muscles in the ML Hackfest 2019 on November 18, 2019. Team Hackdog and Team Pypipper from Novare placed 2nd and 3rd place, respectively, besting 11 other teams of experienced data scientists, machine learning engineers, and developers from various organizations in Metro Manila. ML Hackfest 2019 aimed to gather skilled professionals to collaborate and create real-world solutions to real-world problems through classification, regression, and ensemble models. The participants did this within a limited timeframe.

The ML Hackfest 2019 was organized by AI Pilipinas and Senti AI and was held at the Google Philippines Headquarters. It was part of PH Startup Week 2019, a multi-agency event that celebrates the Filipino startup community.
