On October 29, 2019, Novare Technologies hosted in its offices a Manila Apache Kafka Meetup. The event was in partnership with Confluent, an event streaming platform company founded by the team that built Apache Kafka.
Data engineers from all over the metro flocked to the Novare headquarters to learn more about the capabilities of Kafka in processing and analyzing data faster, easier, and on a large scale. Companies use Kafka for stream processing, fraud detection, and data management.
Some notable users of Kafka are Netflix, Spotify, Attunity, and The New York Times. So whether we are chilling at home binging on Money Heist or going for a run with our favorite workout playlist on Spotify, we are contributing to the millions — maybe trillions — of real-time transactions that are processed on Kafka.
